Senior Associate/Associate Planner - Commercial Team

The team works across a broad range of sectors, including:\n\nCommercial and mixed-use development\nLogistics and employment space\nInfrastructure and strategic sites\nScience, technology, and innovation-led development\nRegeneration and urban renewal projects\nRoadside and operational property usesThe role offers exposure to varied planning work, opportunities to build sector expertise, and regular interaction with senior stakeholders and clients.\n\nThe Role\n\nThe successful candidate would support and lead a range of planning projects, working closely with senior colleagues across the business. Typical responsibilities may include:\n\nDeveloping planning and development strategies\nPreparing planning applications, appeals, and supporting documentation\nAdvising clients and engaging with local authorities and stakeholders\nCoordinating multidisciplinary project teams\nAssisting with business development and client relationship management\nManaging project programmes, budgets, and fee delivery\nSupporting and mentoring junior colleagues\nContributing to process improvement and innovation initiatives, including digital and AI-enabled working practices\n\nCandidate Profile\n\nStrong commercial awareness and client-facing capability\nRelevant professional qualification(s) within planning or property\nCollaborative and team-oriented working style\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication abilities\nExperience within commercial planning and policy work preferred\n\nPlease get in contact with Matt Stevenson on (phone number removed)
